Established in 1850, the Geoffroy Estate is a small, family owned winery based in Chablis. Because there’s no official designation for “Red Chablis,” this wine takes on the larger, regional AC—but the cool climate, and chalky-clay limestone soil makes it ideal to grow Pinot Noir. Dark with cherries, but bright with minerality, this is a particularly fresh and fruitful wine with moderate tannins, delicious flavor and a mouthwatering finish. Enjoy it with lightly grilled white meats, steaky fish (especially swordfish!), seared scallops, or as succulent summer sipper!
Region: Burgundy, France
Variety: Pinot Noir
