We all know the Willamette Valley as being great for Pinot Noir, but what it’s really perfect for is Pinot Gris! Here, we get a version of the grape that shows more acidity than Alsace and more flesh than Italy. Delicious and dry, Apolloni is aptly appealing. Lovely with light lemon on the nose, its palate is completely dry and very full with crisp apple and pear, and it has a nice tart finish to boot. Fabulous with fresh vegetables and raw fish, it’s a great white wine option to have with roast turkey!
