Of the ten Beaujolais crus, Morgon is typically the biggest and most important. The closest in style to a Burgundy, it is considered notably denser and longer lived than most Cru Beaujolais. Under the watchful eye of a woman winemaker, the Chateau Chatelard offers a bottling that it is true to form! Dazzling on the nose with fantastic fruit and red cherry and blackberry, this bottle has size and tannin while remaining bright and elegant. Terrific with a tagine, and of course a roasted chicken or turkey.
