Nestled in the small town of Rovereto, this winery was founded in 1945 by Lorenzo Picollo. Today, it is his son Ernesto who runs the show (and his grandson Gianlorenzo is not far behind)! With soils of sand and clay, and all the stainless steel fermentation, this wine is dry and delicious and classically Italian. Its nose is pretty and unassuming, with gentle fruit and lovely lemon. It's an ideal food wine, of course- and perfect with all kinds of spring salads and summer seafood dishes.
