Grown in (and probably native to) Rueda, Verdejo is of Spain’s top dry white wines. Here, Bodegas Vetus has cultivated and hand harvested 50 year-old vines to create a fantastic wine of citrus flavors mixed with aromas of bay laurel and floral notes of white daisies and honeysuckle. Fermented and aged for three months all in stainless steel, this wine is crisp and elegant while offering a sumptuous flavor on the palate. And the bottle’s clever too--when the butterfly on the label turns blue, then it’s just the right temperature to open up and enjoy!
