Forty miles outside of Mendoza, in the foothills of the Andes mountains, Gouguenheim is one of the best-kept secrets of the Uco Valley! This Malbec is marvelous with fabulous fruit, but also a whisper of violets and a beautiful brambly quality on the nose. With 6 months in used French and American oak, it has medium tannins, plenty of body, and a palate mixed with earth and fruit that’s so good, it goes down rather quick! A fantastically food-friendly wine, drink this with grilled meats or tofu, or just on its own!
