Located on the left bank of the Garonne river, Graves is known for its aristocratic wines. Indeed, after his visit, Thomas Jefferson raved that Graves wines were the very finest in France! Excellent on the nose with delectable dark fruit, spice, and tertiary notes of tobacco, leather, and chocolate. Once on the palate, the tannins are rich, the fruit is ripe, and the texture is earthy and excellent. Enjoy it with any medium rare steak, braised short-ribs, or even on its own to be decadent!
