Along the northern ridge of the Southern Island of New Zealand, Pinot Noir has found an exquisite home to grow and create a wine that is bright, buoyant, and beautiful. With red cherries and raspberry on the nose and a touch of oak (nine months in new French barriques), this wine has earthiness but is not heavy. The tannins are thin and the palate is juicy—a wonderful wine to go with charcuterie, patés and terrines, anything in a mustard sauce, or just to swirl and sip!
