Dolcetto is an early-ripening, low-acid grape which creates a light-bodied wine that is soft, round, and delicious! From the white and chalky soil just outside Alba, Rocco Giovanni has made this charming example. Beautiful with strawberry and blueberry on the nose, it has a slightly fuller mouth feel than we’re used to for Dolcetto, but the same silky tannins that distinguish the style. The perfect pizza wine, its low acidity also makes it one of the rare Italian wines that drinks well on its own!
