Here is something special! A beautiful red Burgundy from the Côte d’Or with nearly eight years of age—just approaching its peak! Nestled next to Volnay and Meursault, Auxey-Duresses is known primarily for its rare and refined reds. With close to 18 months in oak, this wine has an attractive nose of dark fruit and earthiness. The palate is wide and long with plums and cherries and hints of brambly barnyard. It’s a classic complement to a holiday dinner (especially roast turkey) as well as a richly herbed beef tenderloin.
